I have been working at Skater for four years this September — the first boat I worked on was for Nigel. I helped Craig from New Zeeland re-rig the old Spiderman boat. At Skater I am mostly involved in the rigging department and my biggest interest is the race boats.

Last year I helped out with the Honey Party rig, which got me a spot on the race team when they raced in the states. This year I have been jumping between race teams helping out where I am needed.

Last May I helped out the Lucas oil race team with the switch-over from the 525 engines to the P1 711 engines. While in England, I was fortunate to spend time helping out with test and tune of the boat, and I am looking forward to learning more of what it takes to build a boat tough enough for the P1 series.
